Vonola Elizabeth Reid was born in Long Beach, California and died a resident of Anaheim Hills, California. She is survived by her husband, Robert Reid, three children, Sherri, Cindi, and Dennis, and five grandchildren: Stephanie, Sarah, Kristin, Daniel, and David. Her great grandchildren include: Summer, Mackenzie, and Violet.
Von, as she was called, began her working career as a waitress and model, winning the title of Miss Bellflower in 1961. She later worked as a receptionist and moved up to the position of Property Manager for Canal Randolph Corporation, managing Bank of America and Union Bank Towers of Orange. In 1986 she began working as an executive assistant for a law firm in Tustin, until her retirement. Her hobbies were decorating homes and gardens and shopping.
