Mr. Meyer, as I have respectfully referred to him for 40 years, was my HS wood shop teacher. He was a character that my friends and I still respect and reminisce about today. He taught with a passion and loved telling stories. He truly was one of the greatest generation. My condolences to all his family.

So many memories. I am missing having coffee with you at McDonald's. We could sit and talk about the past for many hours. After all, I knew you before two of your children were born. We could relive your time on the farm and all the hardships of that time period. Always a gentleman. So many talents, so much experience. Truly one of the greatest of the greatest generation. He loved people and never spoke negative of people. Always made me feel special, loved, and his words built me up to be so smart. Thanks Stewart for being one of my supporters in this world. They called you a sprinter but I call you a long distance runner. You ran a good race and completed it with respect from many, love for the Lord, your wife and family.Until we meet again. Blessings to your family. I will never forget you.

I am very sorry to hear of Mr. Meyers passing. He and Emily were good friends with my mom and dad, Grover and Virginia Beasley at the church and I know they shared many good times together. All my sympathies, Teresa

Condolences to all of the Meyer family. I remember Stewart and Emily from many years at Orange First Baptist. What a Heavenly reunion must be taking place with all the wonderful people who were such a part of my youth! Sweet memories. Sending loving thoughts to all who remain behind.

Many fond memories of Stewart Myer as I grew up at the First Baptist Church. I am sure he has heard "welcome home, my good and faithful servant." He has joined many before him from the great circles of his family and his church, including my parents, Betty & Conrad. No doubt a wonderful reunion. Your family is in our thoughts and prayers from Colorado.
