Ronald Lee Lewis 80, of Orange, CA. passed away Sunday February, 24, 2019. Ron was born December 4, 1938 in Indianapolis, Indiana to Raymond and Charlotte Lewis. He graduated in 1957 from Santa Fe High School, Santa Fe Springs, CA. In March of 1958 he enlisted in the US Army for 4 years then re-enlisted for 2 more years in the Reserves. In February 1964 he was Honorable Discharged. During his time in the Army he spent time in Korea and then Panama.
In 1961 he met his soul mate Susan Contreras and they were married on March 28, 1964. He had various jobs which included AT&T where he retired after 25 years in 2001. He loved camping, bowling, reading, spending time with family, traveling and cooking. One of his famous dishes was his original Baked Beans. But most of all he loved his 3 lovely daughters, Debbie, Mindy and Jennifer; 3 sons in law Dean, Rich and Mike. 8 grandchildren Justin, Julie, Leanna, Jessica, Kady, Michael, Veronica and Samantha. Also 1 great grandson Joseph.
He is survived also by a sister in law Peggy and 2 brothers in law Hugh and Guy, plus many nephews and nieces which will remember and miss his whistling and sarcastic sense of humor.
