Jesus Espinoza, beloved husband, father, grandfather, and brother passed away peacefully at his home on July 22, 2018, after a long battle with Parkinson's Disease. He was surrounded by family members, including his children and his loving wife of almost 67 years, Celia. Jesus was born on September 2, 1928, to Anastacio and Maria Praxedes Espinoza. He was born and raised in Michoacán, Mexico. Jesus assumed adult responsibilities very early in life, after his father passed away and he became the patriarch and main breadwinner for his family. In 1952, he married Celia and they started their family. In 1956, he immigrated to Orange, California, seeking a better future for himself and his family. Ever the dutiful provider, he worked as a laborer at Mission Clay Products and subsequently worked two jobs as a janitor at St. Joseph's Hospital and Martin Luther Hospital for more than three decades. He was a devout Catholic who cared deeply for his family. He is survived by his wife Celia and their eight children, Maria, Cecilia, Elvia, Jorge, Diane, Vivian, Jessie, and Sally and his siblings, Elena Cortez and Salvador Espinoza. He was preceded in death by his parents, Anastacio and Maria Praxedes Espinoza. Friends and family are invited to celebrate Jesus's life on Tuesday, July 31 between 5:00 p.m. and 9:00 p.m. at Shannon Family Mortuary in Orange, California and at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, August 1 at St. Norbert Catholic Church in Orange, California.
