Beverly Ruth (Mitchell) Rose was born June 11, 1938, in Brawley, California and went to be with her Savior on November 10, 2018, at her home in Orange, California. Bev was a beloved wife to her husband of 60 years, Ron, and a devoted mother to her two children, Randal and Karen. Bev was a gifted teacher who taught many children throughout her lifetime, from nursery school through First Grade. She loved children dearly and enjoyed being their teacher. In 1999, she retired from the Orange Unified School District after 13 years of public-school teaching. Bev enjoyed many hobbies and activities, including flower arranging, line dancing, table decorating, knitting, quilting, camping, cruising, and traveling the world. She was also a member of The Woman’s Club of Orange and enjoyed participating in many events there. But most of all, she delighted in spending time with her three grandchildren, Stacie, Amy, and Brandon. Beverly was preceded in death by her brother, Donald Mitchell. She is survived by her husband, Ronald Rose; children, Randal Rose and Karen (Rose) Aldridge; their spouses, Jennie (Harrison) Rose and Gary Aldridge; grandchildren, Stacie Rose, Amy (Rose) & Andrew Sickler, Brandon Aldridge; sister, Judith (Salman) Briggs; many cousins, nephews, and nieces; and countless dear friends.
“Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge Him and He shall direct your paths.” Proverbs 3:5,6
