Albin Blaise Mikolajczyk
Albin was born on December 11, 1924 in Mt. Pleasant, Pennsylvania. He was the son of John and Mary Mikolajczyk and was one of eleven children. He entered eternal life on June 26, 2019 while surrounded by family. Albin was inducted into the U.S. Army for WWII on May 26, 1943. His operation was Battle of the Bulge in which he received a special assignment to North Africa and Europe. Albin married Ann Kramarski on August 11, 1951 who preceded him to heaven in 1975, along with daughters Joanne Mikolajczyk and Debora Parent. Albin is survived by four remaining children, Denise McEuen, Geralyn Ford, Albin Mikolajczyk, and Edward Mikolajczyk, along with their spouses. He has nine grandchildren and two great granddaughters who he cherished deeply. “Papa” as he was fondly called by all, lived a remarkable life full of faith, adventure, and love. Papa served his family and country well, being a good and faithful servant. He made it his mission to serve Christ and love others. He is now home with the Lord and we can rejoice in the fact that we will see him again. We love you Papa. Donations in Albin’s name may be made to the American Cancer Society or the Wounded Warrior Foundation.
