Romeo Raul Ramirez

Romeo Ramirez Sr., age 90, passed away peacefully on March 10, 2024, at his home in Riverside, CA, surrounded by his loving children. 

Born on May 22, 1933, in Hebbronville, Texas, Romeo was the beloved son of Julian and Ninfa Ramirez and was one of nine siblings: Isabel Santos, Connie Daughtry, Julie Beltran, George Ramirez, Javier Ramirez, Diane Montano, Joe Ramirez, and Larry Ramirez. 

Romeo proudly served in the United States Army during the Korean War. Later, he found happiness in marriage with Josephine Hurtado Ramirez of Orange, CA.  Together, they were blessed with four children. Josephine preceded Romeo in heaven on March 14, 2011.  

Romeo is survived by his children Juanita Palomino, Sandra Ontiveros, Leah Prieto, and Romeo R. Ramirez Jr., as well as his four grandchildren: James Ontiveros Jr., Jessica Ontiveros, Sabrina Prieto, and Alexandra Palomino, and two great-grandchildren, Kassandra, and Caleb Ontiveros.
