Duane Brian Ducheny

Duane Brian Ducheny of Garden Grove, CA, passed away on Tuesday, March 5th at the age of 59. Born to Gary and Glennis Ducheny on August 7th, 1964, in Orange, CA, Duane spent his childhood in Orange County and graduated from Orange High School. He was active in several activities including Little League, a trumpet player in the Orange High School band and achieved his Eagle Scout Award in the Boy Scouts. He attended and was an active member of First Presbyterian Church in Santa Ana for many years where he made many friends.

Duane is survived by his wife of 37 years, Dina; 4 children: Crystal Campos, Matthew Ducheny, Courtney Turner, and Tyler Ducheny; grandchildren Cayden Turner and Lilah Ducheny; mother Glennis Ducheny; brother Dale Ducheny and sister Sherri Lamon; as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Duane loved watching his kids grow up and participate in their activities from sporting events to plays and concerts, he was their number one fan.

Duane recently celebrated his 35th anniversary at Southern California Edison where he worked as a Field Service Rep. In his off time, Duane loved spending time with his family and friends. He enjoyed gardening and traveling with Dina, watching sports and was a lifelong Angels Baseball fan. He was also a fan of Ducks Hockey and Rams Football.
