STEVEN PATTERSON 12/11/90 – 10/09/17
Steven Douglas Patterson, born on December 11, 1990 and taken too soon from family and friends on October 9, 2017. Steven was a fearless, spirited son to Doug and Melanie Patterson, who brought joy and adventure to his family.
Steven embraced the role of big brother over the years and was very proud of his relationship with Brett. While Steven played life by his own rules, keeping everyone on their toes, he also had great love and respect for his parents and grandparents. Steven fell in love with the love of his life, his beauty, Shevelle. He proved to be a loving and committed husband and a dedicated father to Savannah (Chicken Little).
In his short life, Steven experienced so many things, from traveling to Europe, Canada, and Mexico, and all over the United States, to fishing in Alaska with his dad, pops and brother. Steven dipped his toes into cycling with his dad, earning the Triple-Crown, finishing three 200 mile rides, completing the 508 across Death Valley, and crewing for Race Across America (RAAM). Steven’s love for reptiles, exotic fish and creatures left his friends and family wondering what might next cross the threshold.
Steven found his pace at BC Traffic where he absolutely loved his work.
Steven was a loyal friend, one of the wild boys, always up for crazy antics, fun times, and HOCKEY!
GO KINGS GO! (Clap, Clap, Clap).
Steven had become the best version of himself yet and only heaven knows what a wonderful man he had yet to become.
To honor Steven, he would have appreciated any donation to the Great Barrier Reef Society, helping to preserve everything nature.
