Georgene Iona (Heinemann) Cole

Cole, Georgene, 90, fell asleep in the arms of Jesus on Friday, June 9th. She was born on October 18, 1926 and was the second child of George and Clara Heinemann. Her older sister, Elois, passed away in 2013. The girls were natives of Olive, CA which eventually was incorporated by the city of Orange. Georgene attended St. Paul’s Lutheran School and Orange High School, where she met her husband, Lloyd (Butch). She took joy in raising her family. She is survived by son Dennis (Kathy) and daughter Diane (Allen) Reed; grandchildren Daryl (DeeDee), Becky (Jeff) Baldwin, Brett Reef and Chad Reed; great grandchildren Jordan, Kirsten, Sophie, Jake, Abby, Blake, Allie, and Elijah Grayce. She will always remain in our hearts. A celebration of her life will be held at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church of Orange (Heim & Canal Streets) at 11:00 a.m. on June 17th.
