Edward Morales

Edward James Morales passed away at his home on Wednesday, October 25, 2017.  He was 69 years old.  He was born on June 23, 1948 the oldest of nine children. He is survived by his daughter Johanna Casas, his two grandsons Jake and Joshua Casas, his mother Irene Gonzalez and his eight siblings:  Rita Ruiz, Lupe Gonzalez, Jennie Fornicola, Mary Johnson, Vickie Merlino, Joe Gonzalez, Cathy Goodman and Vivian Schumacher. 

Edward enjoyed spending his time with friends and family.  He loved his Dallas Cowboys, enjoyed working on his trucks, playing pool, going camping and shooting and watching sci-fi and war movies.  He served proudly in the Marines from 1968 to 1973 during the Vietnam War. He was honorably discharged and recognized for his service with the Good Conduct Medal, National Defense Service Medal, Combat Action Ribbon and the Vietnam Campaign Medal with 4 Stars to name a few. 

The Viewing and Services will be held on Thursday, November 2, 2017 from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Shannon Family Mortuary.  He will be laid to rest on Friday, November 3, 2017 at 9:45 a.m. at Riverside National Cemetery.
